    Angela Michelle Agee of Lexington, formerly of Campbellsville, graduated from the University of Kentucky's College of Human and Environmental Sciences.

    Dr. Frank Cheatham, vice president for Academic Affairs at Campbellsville University, was recognized for 30 years of service at the university.

    Willis "Chuck" Barnett, 86, of Grimes Road in Campbellsville, died May 15 at Taylor County Hospital in Campbellsville after an illness.

    Charles T. and Mina L. Hedgespeth of Campbellsville will celebrate their 45th wedding anniversary on Sunday, June 1.

    Greg and Tiffany Floyd were honored with a baby shower recently at Good Hope Baptist Church.

    Jamie Richerson of Campbellsville graduated from Elizabethtown Community College School of Nursing on Saturday, May 17, during the college's spring semester pinning ceremony at Severns Valley Baptist Church.

    One of the world's top auctioneers died at his home in Campbellsville on Saturday. Wayne Kessler, 83, of Old Lebanon Road in Campbellsville, died at 4:53 p.m.

    Mylea White celebrated her eighth birthday on April 18 at her home with family and friends.

    Jessica Huber and Nathan Williams were honored with a wedding shower at the home of Frieda Sandidge.

    Doris Jean Magers, 73, of Fern Drive in Campbellsville, died Saturday, April 6, in Campbellsville.

    Bob and Shirley Cecil will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary May 11.

    Fayth Dawn Wise celebrated her fourth birthday with her Glow Worms class at Campbellsville Christian Church.

    Kay Legg and Ricky Myers of Cox Interior were recognized for outstanding training and employment services for their support of farm workers.

    Brad and Amber Vaughn were honored with a wedding shower at Woodlawn Christian Church. The couple was married on Feb. 21.

    Floye Minor Smith, 85, of Tammie Trail in Campbellsville, died Sunday, April 20, in Louisville.

    Chester and Ina Blakeman of Campbellsville celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on April 29.

    Howell Berry, 60, of Elk Horn, died Wednesday, April 9, at his home.

    The annual Campbellsville/Taylor County Fire Department pancake breakfast will be from 5 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 26.

    Jessica Humphress and Jeff Watson of Campbellsville will exchange wedding vows on Saturday, April 12.

    Dustin Campbell celebrated his seventh birthday at Mr. Gatti's with his family and friends.

    U.S. Army Spc. Kelly Underwood, a 1996 Taylor County graduate, is a medic with the Army's 3rd Infantry Division 2nd Brigade, which is among the leading edge of U.S. forces in Iraq.

    Taylor County High School chorus will present its 10th anniversary spring musical on Thursday, March 27, and Friday, March 28.
