Voters in Old West will now vote at new fire department

Changes are coming for voters in Taylor County, and some will vote in new locations on Nov. 6.

Voters in the Old West precinct will vote at the new Taylor County Fire Department at 1563 Greensburg Road.

According to Taylor County Clerk Mark Carney, there will not be any precincts that vote at the Campbellsville Fire-Rescue Department on Broadway with the new change, as both the New West and Old West precincts will now vote at the Taylor County Fire Department on Greensburg Road. 

A complete list of polling locations by precinct is included below.


1st District


• Oak-Hill/Poplar Grove will vote at Salem Baptist Church—271 Salem Church Road

• Saloma/Willowtown will vote at Good Hope Baptist Church—8350 Saloma Road 

• New North will vote at the Community Center—Hwy 3183


2nd District


• Spurlington will vote at All Occasions—473 Spurlington Road

• East and New City East will vote at Lowell Avenue Baptist Church—420 Lowell Avenue

• New East will vote at First Baptist Church—704 East Broadway


3rd District


• Acton will vote at Acton Campground—6440 Liberty Road

• Speck will vote at Whites Ridge General Baptist—600 Speck Ridge Road

• Mannsville/Merrimac will vote at Mannsville United Methodist Church—179 Bradfordsville Road

• Old South will vote at South Campbellsville Baptist—601 South Central Avenue


4th District

• Elkhorn-Yuma will vote at Elk Horn Baptist Church—3145 Elkhorn Road

• Ireland/Irene-Romine will vote at Green River Memorial Baptist Church—3441 Old Columbia Road

• New South will vote at the Taylor County Extension Office—1143 South Columbia Avenue



5th District

• New West will vote at the new Taylor County Fire Department—1563 Greensburg Road

• New City West will vote at Woodlawn Christian Church—831 West Main Street

• Old West will vote at the new Taylor County Fire Department—1563 Greensburg Road


6th District

• Pleasant Hill will vote at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church—6380 Old Lebanon Road

• Old North will vote at BOUNCE—195 City Park Road

• New City North will vote at Campbellsville University Fine Arts Building—University Drive


If anyone has questions about voting locations, they can contact the Taylor County Clerk’s Office at (270) 465-6677, or visit the clerk’s office at the Taylor County Courthouse. 

Voters who are unsure of their polling locations can find their voting location online through the Kentucky Voter Information Center at https://vrsws.sos.ky.gov/vic. Voters must enter their full name, followed by their date of birth and the last four digits of their social security number to access their voter information including their voting location.

Polls will be open for voters to cast their ballots from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m.
