Voters in two precincts will be casting their ballots at a new location during the May Primary Election and any election moving forward.

Voters who reside in the Oak Hill/Poplar Grove precinct will now be voting at Salem Baptist Church located at 271 Salem Church Road. Voters previously went to Dakota Farms Gift Shop to vote in elections.

Voters in the New West precinct will now be voting at the new Taylor County Fire Department station, located at 1563 Greensburg Road. Voters previously went to the Campbellsville Fire Department on Broadway to cast their ballots.

Taylor County Clerk Mark Carney said letters will be sent to all households of registered voters in these two precincts from the Board of Elections informing them of these changes.

If anyone has questions, they can contact the Taylor County Clerk’s Office at (270) 465-6677, or visit the clerk’s office at the Taylor County Courthouse.

Voters who are unsure of their polling locations can find their voting location online through the Kentucky Voter Information Center at https://vrsws.sos.ky.gov/vic. Voters must enter their full name, followed by their date of birth and the last four digits of their social security number to access their voter information including their voting location.
