PREP ATHLETICS: Gumm steps down as AD at TCHS

-A A +A

Will remain head baseball coach

By Josh Claywell

Jeff Gumm has resigned after 10 years as the athletic director at Taylor County High School.

Gumm stepped down from the position just after school let out for the summer, and he said Thursday in a text message while on vacation that he felt like it was the “right time” to step away.

Gumm is not resigning his post as the school’s baseball coach and will be entering his 27th season at the helm in 2019.
