Man accused of selling cocaine

A Campbellsville man has been arrested and charged with multiple drug crimes.

Jeffrey Robert Gurley, 22, of 505 S. Columbia Ave. was arrested at 3:57 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 17.

According to Gurley's arrest citation, police found crack cocaine, powder cocaine and a large amount of money after executing a search warrant at Gurley's room at Towne Motel. The citation states officers also found marijuana and suspected Lortab.

Gurley was charged with first-degree selling cocaine and selling a controlled substance with 1,000 yards of a school.

He pleaded not guilty to the charges in Taylor District Court on Monday, Aug. 18.

Bond was set at $30,000 cash and Gurley was ordered to get an attorney. A preliminary hearing was set for Wednesday.
