Girls win seventh, boys can't outshoot Trojans on the road.

Campbellsville High School's Lady Eagles won their seventh game of the season as coach Cameron Jackson was afforded the luxury of playing his youngest players in a 65-16 shellacking of Kentucky School for the Deaf in Paul J. Coop Gymnasium on Tuesday.

Eighth-grader Heather Watson led the Lady Eagles with 16 points while junior Ashley Kessinger added 14 and eighth-grader Brittany Vaught had nine.

The Lady Eagles host Washington County on Saturday before entertaining Caverna on Tuesday and Fort Knox next Thursday.

Coach Tim Davis' Eagles ran into a hot-shooting North Hardin team and fell 69-57 to the Trojans in Radcliff on Tuesday night.

North Hardin shot more than 50 percent from the field (24-47) and connected on 18 of 23 charity tosses.

Bryton Taylor had 20 points while Thomas Downs added 13 and Matthew Davis 10 for Campbellsville, which hit only 13 of 23 free throws.

The Eagles visit Woodford County tomorrow in an add-on game before returning home to host Washington County in a boy/girl twinbill on Saturday at 6 p.m.
