Historical society to meet Feb. 16

Civil War reenactor Bruce Loveall will present a program for the upcoming Taylor County Historical Society meeting describing his role and activities as a reenactor.

The Historical Society meeting will be at the Old Clerk's Office on Tuesday, Feb. 16 at 7 p.m. The public is invited to the meeting and to become members of the Taylor County Historical Society as it begins its 41st year.

As a reenactor, Loveall portrays a member of the 9th Michigan Volunteer Infantry. In 1861, the original 9th Michigan built Fort Duffield on the hill overlooking West Point, Ky.
