Campbellsville man injured in Columbia Avenue collision

A Campbellsville man was injured in a two-vehicle collision Tuesday at the intersection of South Columbia Avenue and Carnation Street.

According to a Campbellsville Police report, at 4:30 p.m., Rebecca S. Porter, 42, was attempting a left turn from Carnation Street to South Columbia Avenue in a 1986 GMC Jimmy when she pulled into the path of a 1991 GMC Sonoma driven by William M. Rice, 23, of Campbellsville.

Rice was transported to Taylor Regional Hospital by Campbellsville/Taylor County Rescue personnel. He was treated and released.

Porter and her passenger, Chris Cannell, 12, were not injured in the collision.

Campbellsville Police Sgt. Shannon Wilson investigated.
