    Lady Tiger seniors go out in style
    The Campbellsville University Lady Tigers had a senior moment Saturday afternoon, but fortunately it wasn’t one endorsed by the AARP.
    Saying goodbye to six seniors who have led Campbellsville to 103 wins, the Lady Tigers dismantled the University of the Cumberlands 101-72 for their 32nd conference win in their last 33 starts.

    Shawn Savage’s five first-half treys ignited Campbellsville University to a 37-22 half-time advantage en route a 79-60 home victory over Lindsey Wilson College on Thursday night.
    Lindsey Wilson scored the first five points, but Tigers built a 20-point lead as Savage had 15 points, JaVaughn Espritt 10 and Caleb Harris eight in the first half.
    The onslaught continued after intermission despite Savage hitting only two three-pointers and two free throws in the second half..

  • Cards can't overcome start...

    Taylor County actually won the second and third quarters (40-39), but it was the start and final periods that were the difference in John Hardin’s 89-63 home triumph over the Cardinals on Friday night.
    After falling behind 29-15 at the end of the first eight minutes, Taylor County won the second frame 21-18 to trail only 47-36 at the intermission. Caleb Wigginton scored 16 of his team-high 20 points in the first half for the Cardinals.
    Trailing 68-55 going to the final segment, TCHS (14-13) saw the Bulldogs go on a 21-8 game-ending run.

    Lady Tigers clinch third straight MSC regular-season title with 120-64 Saturday rout over St. Catharine
    The Campbellsville University Lady Tigers needed a win to clinch their third straight Mid-South regular season title and they got it Saturday against St. Catharine College 120-64 in Powell Athletic Center.
    The game was won in the first six minutes as CU (23-3, 15-1) blew out to a 22-5 lead and the Lady Tigers led by 33 before settling on a 57-26 half-time advantage.
