    Campbellsville native Jeff Watson was one of the three officials during Christian County’s double-overtime win over Bullitt East in the KHSAA Boys’ State Championship game on Saturday night in Lexington’s Rupp Arena.
    Watson, who also is a successful dirt-track stock car driver, officiated two first-round games and sat at the table for a quarterfinal clash before working the finals.

    Veterans Memorial Park softball meeting on March 31
    Veterans Memorial Park will have its first meeting for summer softball in the Campbellsville Baptist’s Christian Life Center on Thursday at 7 p.m.
    This meeting is for those who will be putting in teams, wanting to umpire and also scorekeepers.

    Campbellsville Youth Soccer will conduct a spring clinic on Saturdays (1 to 3 p.m.) from March 26 through April 30 on the CYS Field. (In case of inclement weather, clinics will be held indoors at Campbellsville University on Sundays.
