    Some folks think I remember too much. I’m known as the possessor of “useless information.” But, then again sometimes it comes in handy.
    When the name Jeff Kidder came up as a possible successor to Troy Young as Taylor County High School head boys’ basketball coach, the information churn began to flow.

    Although nothing is official, there almost certainly be realignment in Kentucky high school basketball before the 2013-14 season.
    Movement has to take place since Heath, Lone Oak and Reidland will merge into McCracken County in 2013, leaving only two teams in that district and only 14 in the First Region. The Second and Third Regions are already one school short of the really-needed 16 to have four four-team districts.
    Here’s one solution, but don’t even believe the new realignment will even look close to this.

    Green County High School junior right-hander Brennen Milby retired the first 20 batters on Saturday before Eagle senior Aylette Cowherd was hit by a pitch. Milby finished his no-hitter as the Dragons blanked home-standing Campbellsville 1-0.

    Taylor County claims 23rd, 24th baseball victories
    Taylor County’s baseball team defeated Green County 21-13 at home on Friday and edged Elizabethtown 2-1 in nine innings on Monday before dropping an 11-6 road decision at Russell County on Tuesday.
