    Registration for Upward Basketball and Cheer at Campbellsville Baptist
    Upward Basketball and Cheerleading has begun early registration for 4-year-olds through fifth graders at Campbellsville Baptist Church. The fee is $65  until Oct. 31 and $75 thereafter. Youngsters must turn 4 by Dec. 1, 2017. The registration deadline is Nov. 12.

  • CHS Eagles shut out on the road...

    Campbellsville faced some of its stiffest competition in the first half of the season and were pinned with a 27-0 road loss to Monroe County in Tompkinsville on Friday night.
    “We just couldn’t get anything going offensively tonight,” remarked CHS head coach. “They whipped us up front and we couldn’t block them.”
    The Eagles could not muster any yards on their first two possessions and the Falcons scored with 5:59 left in the opening frame on a 25-yard run by Monroe County senior signalcaller Ty Mink.

    Campbellsville High School’s boys’ golf team (318) finished runner-up behind Lexington Christian at theKentucky All “A” State Golf Tournament at Eagles’ Nest Country Club in Somerset on Sept. 9. The Eagles coached by Cassidy Scantland Decker were led by senior Alex Doss' 71, which was good enough for third as an individual while Layton Hord had a 75, Connor Wilson and Myles Murrell 86s and Kameron Smith a 96

  • Miller scores seven goals for...

    Will Miller scored seven goals and Taylor County bested Whitley County 10-0 in its first match of the Superior Sign Cup in Somerset vs. Whitley County on Saturday.
    Simon Elhers had two goals while Luka Fleischer had one. Miller, a senior, also added two assists as did Elhers while Fleischer, Noah Rogers and River Russell had an assist apiece. Goalkeeper Ben Bertram had the shutout for TCHS (4-3-1).
    Undefeated Somerset won the nightcap 7-3 with Elhers, Miller and Ryan Maynard having goals and Miller and Ane Lootsma getting assists.
