Crusade for Children drive kicks...

 

Campbellsville and Taylor County Fire & Rescue personnel will collect donations for the annual Crusade for Children drive on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Firefighters will be at various intersections throughout Campbellsville to collect.

Personnel will also go door-to-door on Sunday asking for donations.

In addition to those fundraisers, donations can also be made by visiting the fire station or given to any Campbellsville or Taylor County firefighter.

Memorial Day ceremony set for 2...

Taylor County residents will gather Monday to remember those who have served their country as soldiers.

The community's annual Memorial Day service will begin at 2 p.m. at the Taylor County War Memorial, at the Taylor County Courthouse Square.

Scheduled to attend are Taylor County Judge/Executive Eddie Rogers, Campbellsville Mayor Tony Young, State Rep. John "Bam" Carney, R-Campbellsville, and others. Bill Perkins will be master of ceremonies.
