Campbellsville University graduated 170 master's and 262 undergraduate students on May 3 and 4, respectively, along with 215 December graduates, for a record 647 students receiving their diplomas in the 2012-2013 academic year.

The following students from Taylor County graduated from Campbellsville University:

Wesley Neil Colvin and Jordan Tyler Haynes received associate degrees in nursing.

Cha'kilrra Laquay Lawson, Makayla Ashten McCloud, Sharon Ann Scott and Adam Robert Simmons received associate degrees in nursing.

Residents in Campbellsville will join thousands of individuals across the country to celebrate National Preservation Month this May.

As part of the month’s celebration, Campbellsville Renaissance/Historic Preservation Commission has provided information about four historic buildings in Campbellsville.

Taylor Regional Hospital recently recognized new team members for their first 90 days of service with a breakfast in their honor.

Those honored were Debra Appleby and Joanna Janes, ESD; Kristen Bradshaw, Ashley Hoosier, Nikki Little and Natalia Warren, med/surg; Karen Caldwell, ICU; Janice Collopy, radiology; Kimberly Humes, OB; Brittany Mann and Jodi Tungate, transitional care; Shellie Mattingly and Ashley Thompson Taylor Regional Care Center; Heather Oliveri, physician services; Stephanie Scott, ER and Arlene Smith, patient registration.

The following businesses were inspected by the Lake Cumberland District Health Department using the scale below.

• 85 to 100, pass inspection.

• 70 to 84, business must be re-inspected within 30 days.

• Less than 70, a suspension of permit notice is sent to owner; if owner doesn't reply within 10 days, the permit will be revoked and the business will be closed.
