About 2,000 customers lost power as a result of Thursday night’s storms, according to the Taylor County Rural Electric Cooperative Corporation.
All but a few had power as of Friday. RECC officials said several trees were also down.
The outages were all in the county, according to Kentucky Utilities, which recorded no outages in its mostly city-based area. Taylor County Judge/Executive Eddie Rogers said the outages were in places like Lemons Bend, Meadow Creek and in the area around Davis Road.
No injuries were reported.
