Water service has been restored to Campbellsville residents and a boil water advisory has been lifted.
A 18-inch main water line broke in Miller Park near Trace Creek Softball fields at about 9:30 p.m. Friday night, cutting service to many Campbellsville residents.
Water company employees were working to restore the service throughout the night. Repairs were complete by about 4 p.m. Saturday.
By Saturday morning, much of the service had been restored, but the water system wasn’t yet fully operational. Water pressure returned to normal Sunday.
