This is one of five black Labrador puppies at the Taylor County Animal Shelter in need of a new home. She is one of three females. The puppies are about a month old and are strays.

Taylor County Animal Shelter has a variety of cats and dogs looking to be a part of someone's family.

The shelter is open 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturdays and is located off KY 210, just past Walmart.

Adoption fee is $100, which includes a microchip with 30 days of insurance, rabies and parvo shots, deworming and a spay or neuter voucher. The owner is responsible for taking their new pet to a vet to be spayed or neutered.
