  • System failing murder victim

Brianna Brucker is charged with murdering her 3-month-old son, Charles Brett Hayden Jr. So why would she be released with out posting any bond?

Brucker, 20, and her husband, Dale Brucker, 26, the boy’s stepfather, have been charged with her son’s death. Brianna Brucker was held in jail on a $100,000 cash bond, which was reduced last week to $50,000, unsecured.

Dale Brucker has requested that his $125,000 bond be reduced, but that request has been denied.

  • Real estate appraiser supports Chad Shively for PVA

In my career as a real estate appraiser and researcher, I have seen literally every county courthouse, deed room and tax office between I-65 and I-75 from Louisville to the Tennessee line and beyond. That is how I came to realize how fortunate I was to be headquartered for many years in Taylor County, where we have the most top-notch county clerk and property valuation administrator offices around.

  • Realtor supports Chad Shively for PVA

I highly recommend Taylor County residents to vote to keep Chad Shively as our property valuation administrator.

Chad has made my job as a realtor a lot easier when it comes to doing a market analysis or comparable sales search for properties. He's always easy to reach, whether it's a phone call to his office, a text to his cell phone or a message to him on Facebook. No matter what time of day it is, he always responds. Real estate isn't a 9-to-5 job, so it's important for me to have my contacts readily available for questions and advice.

  • Former resident supports Chad Shively for PVA

My name is Jim Eldridge, and I'm a former nine-year resident of Campbellsville. While living in Campbellsville, I was employed with Century 21 Smith Realty Group, and that is how I met Chad Shively. I met and made friends with many fine folks while there, and Chad rates high on my list.

  • Resident supports Chad Shively for PVA

The following letter is being written in support of Chad Shively remaining Taylor County PVA.

I have known Chad for numerous years through community events. He has done an excellent job during his short time as PVA. He has made numerous positive changes to include actively educating our community about the Homestead Exemption for senior citizens, has an open-door policy to personally address individual questions about property assessments as well as explaining how the property tax system works, and he is always there to show his support during community events.

  • Fulton County PVA supports Chad Shively

This letter comes from far western Kentucky from the PVA in Fulton County, and is written to endorse Chad Shively for Taylor County PVA.

Chad took office May 17, 2013, after serving 10 years in the Taylor County PVA office.

  • Former resident supports Chad Shively for PVA

I have been a citizen of Taylor County all of my life until my husband's job required us to move last year. I have known Chad Shively, current PVA, for almost four years. During these years, Chad has become a mentor to my husband and I. I have watched him faithfully serve his community in more than one way.

He serves his family, friends, church and church communities in Taylor County, as well as other states. I can list numerous reasons to keep Chad as PVA, but I will focus on just a few; character, reputation and qualifications are what I would like to focus on.
