Whether it was attending a business function, private party, family celebration or running an errand, it seems everywhere I went over the holidays I ended up in a discussion with yet another Kentuckian who is fed up with Mitch McConnell.

We now have a solution to the problem.

In response to the Dec. 27 front-page article concerning home foreclosures, Sunset Beach Properties is trying very hard to work directly with local people and local banks to buy property before it goes into the foreclosure process.

We can not only pay off the note but provide a little financial aid and manpower assistance to move that family as well as provide money for the immediate future. We also help in the form of not ruining one's credit.

Recently I was driving through a nearby community on my way to my sister's house. I stopped at a store, got out and heard a hissing noise. I had a slit on the side of my tire.

I immediately got back in my car and pulled across the street to a tire store. By then my tire was almost flat.

I got out of my van with my two young boys and a man came outside to ask me if I needed something. I explained to him about my tire and that I would need a replacement.

I can't understand how the justice system works. People choose to deal in drugs and alcohol and are found guilty but somehow seem to miss time behind bars. They are allowed their freedom just to do it again.

This so-called diversion is nothing more than a game lawyers play to increase their bank account. Where is justice?

Let's keep paying these people just to feed our children drugs and other junk so in the future we can have even more children that are drug addicts, unwed mothers, etc. Good job system. What a screwed-up world we live in.
