Maze Stallworth thought his team grew up quite a bit Saturday night.
Going up against one of the state’s best in Scott County, Taylor County didn’t back down from the challenge presented by then-No. 2 Scott County.
The result wasn’t what Taylor County wanted, winding up with a 67-52 setback in the Clem Haskins Classic at Citizens Bank Arena, but the team showed signs of growth and maturity.
And at this time of year, with the postseason approaching, that’s exactly what Stallworth wants to see from his squad.
