  • Snow-Montgomery

    Meredith Ann Snow of Campbellsville and Bradley Thomas Montgomery of Louisville will exchange wedding vows on Saturday, Nov. 1.

    Snow is the daughter of Dennis and Barbara Snow of Campbellsville. Her grandparents are the late Louis and Lola Snow and Floyd "Buck" and Irene Short.

    She is a 1999 graduate of Taylor County High School and a 2003 graduate of Lindsey Wilson College. Snow is employed at the Social Security office in Campbellsville.

  • CU sets record enrollment for 17th consecutive semester

    For the 17th consecutive semester, Campbellsville University has achieved record enrollment with 2,601 students.

    Beginning his 10th year as president of Campbellsville University, Dr. Michael V. Carter said the increase in enrollment is due to the hard work of the faculty, staff and coaches at CU, and is also due to the atmosphere at CU.

  • Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian to host revival

    Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church, located at 4139 Old Columbia Road, will be having revival services from Sunday night Oct. 12 through Wednesday night Oct. 15.

    Services will begin at 7 each night.

    The Rev. Dr. George Estes, who serves as director of missions and new church development for the denomination, will be the evangelist.

    Special music is planned for each night as well.

    The community is invited to attend.

  • CU graduate's art on display through Oct. 23

  • Classes of 1973 to have reunion

    Members of the Class of 1973 at Taylor County and Campbellsville high schools will have a 35-year reunion at Rosewood Country Club in Lebanon on Saturday, Nov. 15 at 7 p.m.

    Invitations are in the mail, though organizers are missing a few addresses.

  • Taylor County Marching Invitational is Saturday, Oct. 11

    Taylor County Marching Invitational will showcase 12 of the state's finest bands on Saturday at Taylor County High School.

    The competition will begin with an opening ceremony at 1:30 p.m.
