    Kentucky Christian School recently collected 548 pounds of food for the local food pantry.

    The Campbellsville University Horn Quartet was recently named runner-up in the 2006 Midwest Horn Quartet competition.

  • We Are Taylor County showing tonight

     

    The two-time Fifth Region Tournament basketball champion Taylor County Cardinals will be on the big screen tonight.
    KET and Revived Productions will present “We Are Taylor County” tonight in the high school gymnasium.
    The Taylor County School District will host a viewing party at 7:30 with adult admission being $5 and $2 for Taylor County students and kids from 5 to 18.
    The festivities begin from 7-7:30 with an autograph signing taking place from 7 to 7:30 with the 2015 and 2016 Fifth Region championships.

    Lance Allen competed in statewide competition at the 2006 Future Business Leaders of America state conference on April 12 in Louisville.

    The United States Achievement Academy has named Kayla Raganas of Campbellsville a United States National Award Winner in physical education.

    Taylor County Future Farmers of America recently attended a regional competition at Lindsey Wilson College.

  • Lady Cardinals tally late for doubleheader sweep

     

    Taylor County's Lady Cardinals, who completed their shortened game of April 11 with a 17-4 triumph at Veterans Memorial Park, tallied a run in the bottom of the eighth inning to edge Campbellsvile 12-11 at Veterans Memorial Park on Tuesday night.

  • CHS tennis units sweep Heartland

     

    Campbellsville High School's girls’ and boys’ tennis teams won the Heartland Conference tournament on April 18. Brooklyn Harris was the girls’ singles winner while Morgan Milby and Mallory Haley won the girls’ doubles and Zack Settle and Cass Kidwell won the boys’ doubles. Samuel Kessler was runner-up in the boys’ singles' bracket.

    Nicole Marie Rogers recently graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a bachelor's degree in nursing.

    Haley Dawn Vetter recently completed the 2005-2006 year as a cheerleader for Heartland Flyer Allstars in Elizabethtown.

    The Taylor County Future Farmers of America Chapter will be hosting its annual banquet on Tuesday, May 16.
