    What I'm thankful for...

Thankful... That word doesn't even seem strong enough. It's more like thankful, gracious, appreciative, and so much more put all together. Well, I guess one word can't describe the mass emotion I feel when it comes to this subject, but I guess I will just stick with friendship.

Whenever I'm asked in my life what I am thankful for, most boys my age would say video games, TV, arcades or sports. However, I try to look way beyond those things in my life, to see what truly matters most.

I realize I do not know a lot of things, but I do know how important my family is to me. I'm reminded every day that I have blessings in my life. I have two parents who love me, more than anything else, and I realize the majority of kids today live with other relatives or grandparents, and are not so fortunate. So, therefore, I feel very blessed to have my mom and dad in my life.

    Thankful Prayers

For the past 41 years I've been deeply thankful for my position at Campbellsville High School. I don't call it a job because it is an honor, a privilege, an opportunity to give of myself to the students and teachers. Each day I feel pride as I walk into the school because, simply said and sincerely so, it is my life.

I have all of these things and more. But yet I take it for granted. I may not be the luckiest, most wealthy person in the world but I am thankful for what I have.
