A Campbellsville woman has been arrested and charged after she allegedly fled from police.

According to a Campbellsville Police report, officers made a traffic stop to begin investigating the theft of a registration plate on Monday.

Officer Ryan Jewell made the stop at 3:40 p.m. for failure to wear seat belts.

The release states that the passenger in the vehicle exited it and then fled on foot. The driver also left the scene.

The vehicle was later located at a residence on McNary Street, the release states.

The following businesses were inspected by the Lake Cumberland District Health Department using the scale below.

• 85 to 100, pass inspection.

• 70 to 84, business must be reinspected within 30 days.

• Less than 70, a suspension of permit notice is sent to owner; if owner doesn't reply within 10 days, the permit will be revoked and the business will be closed.

A Campbellsville teenager has been arrested and charged with smoking marijuana with a 16-year-old.

Stevi Shirley, 18, of 84 Anna Court, was arrested Monday, March 25, at 11:54 p.m.

According to Shirley's arrest citation, Campbellsville Police Officer Scotty Perian received a complaint of possible illegal activity at the Anna Court home.

Upon arrival, Perian wrote in court records, Shirley answered the door and he allegedly smelled marijuana coming from the residence.
