    The Taylor County Sheriff's Office recently released its November activity report.

    The report includes 34 cases opened, 133 criminal arrests, 23 traffic collisions worked, six injury collisions worked, 113 arrest warrants served, 147 civil papers served, 19 citations issued, one DUI arrest, 480 complaints answered, 86 vehicles inspected, 1,233 hours worked and 8,518 miles driven.

  • Resident charged with identity theft

     

    A Campbellsville woman has been arrested and charged with identity theft after she allegedly tried to use a stolen ATM card.

    According to a Taylor County Sheriff's Office report, deputies arrested Lois Carter, 66, of Cainwood Drive at 5 p.m. on Tuesday.

    The report states that the arrest came after a three-month investigation in Texas.

    Carter was charged after she allegedly attempted to use an ATM card in Campbellsville that she fraudulently obtained.

  • Resident accused of abusing children

     

    A Bardstown man has been arrested and charged with allegedly abusing children by allowing them to live in a home in Taylor County contaminated with feces.

    James Curtsinger, 27, of 9090 Bloomfield Drive, was arrested Wednesday, Nov. 14, at 1:20 p.m.

    According to court records, Curtsinger allegedly allowed to children to live in the home, where they were found with fecal matter on their bodies on Oct. 25.

  • Resident accused of stealing from employer

     

    A Campbellsville man has been arrested and charged after he allegedly stole from his employer.

    According to a Taylor County Sheriff's Office report, deputies arrested Michael Gribbin, 33, on Tuesday at 6:35 p.m.

    The report states that Gribbin was charged with stealing from the Amazon.com plant in Campbellsville, where he was employed at the time.

    Gribbin was charged with theft by unlawful taking more than $500.

    He was lodged at the Taylor County Detention Center.
