  • One injured in KY 210 crash

    A Campbellsville man was injured in a one-vehicle crash on KY 210 last Thursday.

    According to a Taylor County Sheriff's Office report, Timothy Greenwell, 48, of 10079 Hodgenville Road, was driving a 2003 Toyota Tacoma east on KY 210 at 1:35 p.m.

    The report states that, when Greenwell had driven about seven miles out of Campbellsville, he lost control after sliding on black ice. Greenwell's vehicle struck a guardrail.

  • Lebanon man charged with selling drugs in Taylor County

     

    A Lebanon man has been arrested and charged with selling drugs in Taylor County.

    Anthony T. Graves, 44, of 65 Sunrise Drive, was arrested on Thursday, Dec. 26, at 3:42 p.m. in Marion County.

    According to Graves' arrest warrant, while in Taylor County, he allegedly had an unlabeled bottle containing 80 Clonazepam pills in his vehicle on Sept. 25. The pills are valued at about $240, court records state.

    During the month of November, there were 29 traffic collisions investigated by Kentucky State Police troopers working in the Post 15 area, which covers Taylor, Adair, Casey, Clinton, Cumberland, Green, Marion, Metcalfe, Monroe, Russell and Washington counties.

    There were six fatal collisions during the month of November in the Post 15 area.

    Marty Hammons, 21, of Bowling Green, was killed on Nov. 10 in Green County.

    Robert G. Kimbler Jr., 56, of Columbia, was killed on Nov. 14 in Green County.

  • Man charged with abusing child

     

    A Campbellsville man has been arrested and charged with abusing a young boy.

    Corie Wayne Barnett, 37, of 419 Bowman St., was arrested on Thursday, Dec. 12, at 4:40 p.m.

    According to Barnett's arrest citation, a school notified social services staff members that a child had bruises on his back and face.

    Campbellsville Police Detective Ben Riggs called the child's mother and, when visiting her home, found 12 bags of individually wrapped marijuana.
