    • 13-C-297, filed 8/30/13; Barry and Lisa Bryant of Sheila Drive in Campbellsville v. Michael and Melissa Mitchell of Eads Street in Campbellsville. On 9/11/13 the claim was dismissed because no one appeared in court.

  • One injured in KY 210 crash

    A Campbellsville man was injured in a two-vehicle crash on KY 210 on Monday.

    According to a Campbellsville Police report, the crash happened at 3:14 p.m. at the intersection of KY 210 and North Bypass.

    Bennie D. Bryant, 65, of Campbellsville, was driving a 2003 Pontiac Grand AM and Terry K. Pennington, 49, of Campbellsville, was operating a 2007 Jeep Wrangler when the two collided.

    Campbellsville/Taylor County EMS personnel transported Bryant to Taylor Regional Hospital. He was treated and released.

  • Two injured in Roberts Road crash

    Two people were injured Wednesday in a two-vehicle crash on Roberts Road.

    According to a Campbellsville Police news release, at about 8:30 a.m., officers received a report of a crash at the intersection of U.S. 68 and Roberts Road.

    An investigation into the crash, according to the report, determined that a vehicle operated by Kimberly Lobb, 49, of Greensburg, was traveling east on U.S. 68. A second vehicle, operated by Stephen K. Milby, 31, of Campbellsville, was traveling north on Roberts Road.

  • Sex offender charged with failing to report address

     

    A registered sex offender living in Campbellsville has been arrested and charged with not reporting his address to the proper authorities.

    Kenneth Isaac Shuck, of 600 E. Broadway, Apt. E, was arrested Saturday, Sept. 14, at 9:42 p.m.

    According to Shuck's arrest citation, he told Campbellsville Police Officer Scotty Perian that he has lived at his East Broadway address for more than five months. The address is within 1,000 yards of Campbellsville Christian Church's school.

    The following businesses were inspected by the Lake Cumberland District Health Department using the scale below.

    • 85 to 100, pass inspection.

    • 70 to 84, business must be re-inspected within 30 days.

    • Less than 70, a suspension of permit notice is sent to owner; if owner doesn't reply within 10 days, the permit will be revoked and the business will be closed.

  • Two injured in KY 210 crash

    Two people were injured after they were trapped inside their vehicle following a crash on KY 210.

    Campbellsville Police Department officers responded to the scene last Tuesday at about 5:55 p.m. The two-vehicle crash occurred near Walmart.

    According to a news release, a preliminary investigation has revealed that a vehicle occupied by Jessie Bell of Mount Sherman and Travis Bradshaw of Summersville was crossing KY 210 from Walmart to Green River Cinema 6.
