  • Three arrested, charged with burglary

     

    Three men, two from Campbellsville and one from Greensburg, have been arrested and charged with burglarizing a Taylor County home.

    According to a Taylor County Sheriff's Office report, deputies received information last November that a burglary had occurred in the Wilson Creek area.

    After an investigation, evidence was found and three people were interviewed. The report states that, after the interview, the three admitted to taking the items that had been reported as stolen.

  • Resident charged with bringing drugs into jail

     

    A Campbellsville woman has been charged with bringing drugs into the Taylor County Detention Center.

    Deena N. Collings, 28, of 705B S. Central Ave., was arrested on Tuesday, Jan. 7, at 3:10 p.m.

    According to court records, during a strip search, she was found to have a black bag and green balloon inside her body.

    Records state that the bag had tobacco inside. A lighter, rolling papers, eyeliner pencil, 10 Lyrica pills, 18 1/2 Ambien pills and an unidentified pill were inside the balloon.
