  • Liberty man charged with public intoxication

     

    A Liberty man was arrested and charged on Saturday with being intoxicated in public.

    According to a Taylor County Sheriff's Office report, deputies received a complaint of a suspicious vehicle in the old Minor's Jeans parking lot on Elk Horn Road at about 11:10 p.m.

    The report states that Taylor County Sheriff's Deputy Robert VanCleave arrived at the scene and found Landon Donald McGinnis, 31, of 1460 Hayes Hollow Road, kicking an object underneath his vehicle. The object was later identified as a syringe and needle.
