Newly elected State Senator Jimmy Higdon, R-Lebanon, and State Rep. John "Bam" Carney, R-Campbellsville, hosted a public forum Monday at the Taylor County Courthouse. About 25 people attended.
Carney began by thanking the crowd for attending and saying that he is proud to have a new senator who cares a lot for this area.
"He's hit the ground running," Carney said about Higdon, "thinking a lot about Taylor County."
