    Monday - Scrambled eggs, sausage patty, baked apples, biscuits and gravy, fruit and milk.

    Tuesday - Chicken tenders, scalloped potatoes, seasoned carrots, banana, fruit and milk.

    Wednesday - Spaghetti with meat sauce, tossed salad, Gogurt, garlic bread, fruit and milk.

    Thursday - Beef tacos, chips with cheese and salsa, refried beans, sherbet, fruit and milk.

    Friday - Turkey, ham and cheese sub sandwich, mixed vegetables, corn on the cob, applesauce, fruit and milk.

  • Art professor receives CU tenured faculty award

    Campbellsville University art professor Linda J. Cundiff was presented the Campbellsville University Advancement Board's 20th annual Excellence in Teaching Award for tenured faculty recently.

    The award is given annually to a faculty member who has excelled. Cundiff was given the award by Randy Herron, chair of the CU Advancement Board, and board member Kimble Jessie.

    They were met by a new leader, interim principal Donna Williams.

  • Council sees plans for sports complex


    After much discussion and planning, a final rendering of what a sports complex could look like on the city’s property on KY 55 has been revealed.

    And those helping to plan the park say they believe the city is preparing for its future by formulating a plan for the property.

    Representatives from Sherman Carter Barnhart Architects presented plans for the proposed park at Monday night’s Campbellsville City Council meeting.

  • Election filing deadline is Tuesday

    Though it is still a few months away, Tuesday marks a filing deadline for the upcoming General Election on Nov. 6.

    Tuesday is the filing deadline for those wanting a seat on the Campbellsville or Taylor County school boards or the Taylor County Soil Conservation District Board.

    Those wanting to file for those seats must do so by Tuesday at 4 p.m. at the Taylor County Courthouse.

  • Cruising causes concerns for residents

    It once brought teenagers from all over the state to Campbellsville to meet with their friends on Friday and Saturday nights.

    Several years later, after an effort to bring it back, cruising Main Street is causing some problems for local residents.

    At Monday night’s regular Campbellsville City Council meeting, residents Brianna and Brent Burden said they recently moved to Campbellsville because they felt the town is a perfect match for them.
