• CES names Leaders of the Week


    Campbellsville Elementary School recently named its Leaders of the Week.

    They are kindergartener Marissa Sumners, first-grader Kyndall Cox, second-grader Dior Charles and third-grader Diego Noyola.

  • KCA kicks off brick engraving campaign

    Kentucky Christian Academy recently began an engraved brick campaign to students, community members, clubs, organizations and businesses.

    Money raised from the sale of the bricks will be used toward building a playground at the new KCA school.

    A limited number of bricks will be sold. The engraved bricks will lead to the entrance of the KCA building.

    Bricks will also be available for students to have engraved using their own handwriting.

    Wednesday - Bosco pizza stick, garden salad, corn, sidekick smoothies and milk.

    Thursday - Chicken nuggets, broccoli casserole, seasoned carrots, fruit cocktail and milk.

  • Students attend field day at Clay Hill forest

    High school and middle school students from four Kentucky counties, including Taylor, attended the first field day of the semester at Campbellsville University's Clay Hill Memorial Forest, a regional center for environmental education and research, on Oct. 21.

    Students from Green County High School, Lebanon Middle School and Adair County High School also attended.

  • TCHS names Students of the Week


    Taylor County Elementary School recently named its Students of the Week for the week of Oct. 27.

    They are freshman Colton Hughes, sophomore Layke Burriss, senior Lexus Denham and junior Gabby Pyles.

    Campbellsville Middle School recently named its Leaders of the Week for the week of Oct. 27.

    They are fifth-grader Dakota Harris, sixth-grader Destiny Hicks, fourth-grader Mary Russell, seventh-grader Zaria Cowan and eighth-grader Casey Hardin.

    Campbellsville University's master of business administration program with a track in human resource management has been named No. 16 out of the top 50 schools for online master's degrees in human resources by www.topmanagementdegrees.com.

    Dr. Pat Cowherd, dean of the School of Business and Economics, said CU officials are honored for the program to be named to the list.
