  • Teens spread message about dangers of tobacco use in PSAs

    Taylor County Middle School students are sending a message to their peers: "Smoking isn't cool."

    Students in and around the Lake Cumberland region are spreading the news about the dangers of tobacco use through public service announcements they recorded earlier this month while at a regional tobacco conference in Somerset.

    The Center for Rural Development partnered with 16 sponsors to bring the conference, part of a statewide movement called HOT - Helping Overcome Tobacco - to this region of the state.

  • CES names December Soaring Eagles

    Campbellsville Elementary School recently named its December Soaring Eagles - students who achieve above anticipated level, have good work habits, exhibit accuracy and neatness in all aspects of their work and reflect good citizenship in all aspects of their school life.

  • Bethel Christian Academy hosts Santa.

  • KCS hosts exchange student

    Alina Stamm is an exchange student from Luzern, Switzerland who is currently attending Campbellsville High School. Stamm was presented with a gift from Kentucky Christian School - red, white and blue ornaments for her Christmas tree once she returns home. Her host family are Steve and Patti Phillips.   • CES gives math awards

    Campbellsville Elementary first graders Piper Rucker, Nina Bridgewater, Branden Neat and Brody Weeks earned a math award and were recently honored during a celebration assembly.
