  • 4-H Demonstration Champions advance to district

    Congratulations to the participants in the recent 4-H Demonstration Contest. By presenting a demonstration, 4-H members improve their public speaking skills, poise and self-confidence in front of a group.

    Demonstration champions advance to the district competition at Lindsey Wilson College on May 3. District winners advance to the state competition.

    In the foods category, Brittany Rose was named the champion. Her demonstration was "How to Make a Tag-Along Milkshake."

  • TCES receives flag from the Capitol

    Taylor County Elementary School was recently presented with a United States flag that had been flown over the Capital in Washington D.C. Phyllis Causey, field representative for Rep. Ron Lewis, presented the flag to Herbert Wheat, TCES principal. Fifth grade safety patrol members are responsible for raising and lowering the flag each day and are also pictured.

  • CU's ONE Chapter ranks Top 10 in ONE Campus Challenge

    After six months, tens of thousands of phone calls and letters to Congress and the presidential candidates, and after hundreds of events on campuses across the U.S. to raise awareness of extreme poverty and preventable disease, the Campbellsville University ONE Chapter has earned a spot in the Top Ten of the ONE Campus Challenge.
