  • CES names Students of the Week

     

    Campbellsville Elementary School announced its Students of the Week for Aug. 19.

  • CU English professor receives promotion

    Dr. Sandra Kroh, assistant professor of English as a second language, has been promoted to associate professor of English as a second language, according to an announcement from Dr. Michael V. Carter, president of Campbellsville University

    Kroh also serves as director of the English as a second language institute.

  • CU education professor receives promotion

    Dr. Robert VanEst, associate professor of education at Campbellsville University, has been promoted to professor of education, according to an announcement from Dr. Michael V. Carter, CU president.

    VanEst has served at CU since August 2001.

    He received the Faculty Servant Leadership Award at CU's Honors and Awards Day in April.

  • PRIDE funds available for environmental education

    Applications are now being accepted for the 2011 PRIDE Environmental Education Contract Program.

    The funds can be used for a variety of hands-on activities that promote awareness of the importance of a clean environment, personal responsibility and community pride.

    Examples of activities eligible for funding include recycling programs, community gardens, greenhouses, wetlands, science equipment and multimedia materials.

    Taylor County Elementary School recently announced its Good Deed winners for the week of Aug. 23. They are DJ Goodin, Andrew Melton, Kaden McNear, Railee Hagan and Edwin Perez-Ramos.

  • CMS launches Eagle Excellence initiative

     

    Campbellsville Middle School recently launched the Eagle Excellence initiative.

    Staff have Eagle Excellence cards that they may give to students when they witness an act by a student who displays excellence in the areas of preparedness, respect, student involvement in positive activities, dependability and work in the classroom.
