• Resident among DePaul University's graduating class

    DePaul University announced that Ashley Vanover of Campbellsville graduated from DePaul University in Chicago this summer. It was DePaul's 112th commencement.

    Dr. Craig Rogers, associate professor of psychology and honors program director at Campbellsville University, has received tenure, according to an announcement from Dr. Michael V. Carter, CU president.

  • CU social work professor receives promotion

    Dr. Japheth Jaoko, assistant professor of social work at Campbellsville University, has been promoted to associate professor of social work, according to an announcement from Dr. Michael V. Carter, CU president.

    Jaoko, who has been employed at CU since 2007, graduated as valedictorian from Pan African Christian College in Nairobi, Kenya where he received a bachelor of arts in bible and theology in 1996.

  • CU School of Theology to publish book

    Campbellsville University's School of Theology will print its first faculty-written book, "Producing World Changers for Christ," with help from Columbia Baptist Church.

    Columbia Baptist Church presented CU's School of Theology a check for $1,500 to pay the printing costs for the book.

  • CU radio station receives donation

    The Church Relations Council at Campbellsville University approved a fundraising goal of $5,000 at its fall meeting for purposes of supporting Campbellsville University's new Christian radio station, WLCU 88.7 FM.

  • TCHS, CHS bands perform in exhibition


    The Taylor County and Campbellsville High School marching bands participated in the Mark Twain Pre-Season Exhibition at Adair County High School on Saturday, August 27.

    Fourteen bands from across the state performed for judges' comments and critiques in preparation for the 2011 Kentucky Music Educators Association marching band season. The Lindsey Wilson College Raider Band also performed.

    The Marching Cardinals will enter competition on Saturday, Sept. 17. The Taylor County Marching Invitational will be Saturday, Sept. 24.
