    Taylor County High School recently observed National School Breakfast Week.

    The week's winners were Jermiah Messer, Brian Pelcher, Brenton Benningfield, Kayla McStoots, Lexus Denham and Malorie Byrne. Absent for the photo is Jacob Rice.

    Wednesday - Lasagna, garden salad with tomatoes, baby peas, garlic bread, sidekick smoothies, fruit and milk.

    Thursday - Bosco pizza sticks, marinara sauces, sweet corn, pineapple tidbits, fruit and milk.

  • TC schools recognized for technology innovation

    Taylor County School District has once again been recognized for implementation and innovation of technology in the classroom.

    Taylor and Carroll counties were among 30 top-ranking districts nationwide in the 10th annual Digital School District Survey conducted by the National School Board Association and the Center for Digital Education.

    Carroll County tied for fourth place and Taylor County Schools placed ninth in the small district category.

  • Local students win at woman's club competition

     

    Campbellsville Woman's Club has taken first place in several entries at the 4th district meeting and will send the entries to compete at the state convention in Louisville on April 10-13.

  • FFA wins at Lake Cumberland Regional competition

     

    Taylor County High School's Future Farmers of America Chapter competed at the Lake Cumberland Regional competition at Lindsey Wilson College on March 13.

    First place winners were Mason Arnold, crop; Hannah Hall, fruit and vegetable; Weston Sullivan, beef; Rebekah Cowherd, FFA quiz; Jodie Phillips, small animal; Kody Phillips, ag mechanics; Alex Zimmerman, poultry; and Ty Corbin, turf and lawn.

    Taylor County High School recently named its Students of the Week for the week of March 24.

    They are freshman Rylen Smith, sophomore Colton Graham, junior Briana Hicks and senior Travis Perkins.
