    Monday - Mini corn dogs, macaroni and cheese, green beans, mixed fruit, fruit and milk.

    Tuesday - Sausage, biscuit, gravy, scrambled eggs, baked apples, fruit and milk.

    Wednesday - Lasagna, garden salad with tomatoes, baby peas, garlic bread, sidekick smoothies, fruit and milk.

    Thursday - Bosco pizza sticks, marinara sauces, sweet corn, pineapple tidbits, fruit and milk.

  • TC schools recognized for technology innovation

    Taylor County School District has once again been recognized for implementation and innovation of technology in the classroom.

    Taylor and Carroll counties were among 30 top-ranking districts nationwide in the 10th annual Digital School District Survey conducted by the National School Board Association and the Center for Digital Education.

    Carroll County tied for fourth place and Taylor County Schools placed ninth in the small district category.

  • Local students win at woman's club competition

     

    Campbellsville Woman's Club has taken first place in several entries at the 4th district meeting and will send the entries to compete at the state convention in Louisville on April 10-13.

  • FFA wins at Lake Cumberland Regional competition

     

    Taylor County High School's Future Farmers of America Chapter competed at the Lake Cumberland Regional competition at Lindsey Wilson College on March 13.

    First place winners were Mason Arnold, crop; Hannah Hall, fruit and vegetable; Weston Sullivan, beef; Rebekah Cowherd, FFA quiz; Jodie Phillips, small animal; Kody Phillips, ag mechanics; Alex Zimmerman, poultry; and Ty Corbin, turf and lawn.

  • TCHS names Students of the Week

     

    Taylor County High School recently named its Students of the Week for the week of March 24.

    They are freshman Rylen Smith, sophomore Colton Graham, junior Briana Hicks and senior Travis Perkins.

  • CES hosts book parade

     

    Campbellsville Elementary School students in kindergarten through third grade were invited to participate in a book parade recently.

    Each student selected a book they enjoyed and created a display board giving various details about the book, including characters, setting and plot. The projects were presented and judged.

  • TCHS names Students of the Week

     

    Taylor County High School recently named its Students of the Week for the week of March 31.

    They are freshman Carly Bland, sophomore Reanna Lewis, junior Jilly Benningfield and senior John Shietze.

  • TCMS names Students of the Week

     

    Taylor County Middle School recently named its Students of the Week for the week of March 24.

    They are Dillon Gilbert, Brady Cook, Jesslynne Mann, Kailey Thompson, Faith Gaddis, Brad Willis and Kadin Paiz.

  • Campbellsville schools honor academic achievers

     

    Campbellsville Independent Schools recently announced its academic achievers for March. A boy and a girl from each school are named.

    Those recognized include:

    Enan Hagy is a third-grade student at CES. He is the son of Nicole Paige. His favorite teacher is Doretha Sanders and social studies is his favorite subject. He enjoys playing football and physical education class. His future plan is to become a football player.

  • TCHS students win at art competition

     

    Taylor County High School art students recently placed at the Caveland Regional Competition.

    Christa Thomas and Brittany Downey will advance to Kentucky all-state competition.

    Winners are Emily Swafford, third place in sculpture; Christa Thomas, best of show, first place in drawing, second place in mixed media and third place in painting; Megan Mullican and Rachel Roberts, honorable mention in painting; and Brittany Downey, first place in graphic design.
