Pancho’s Mexican Restaurant celebrated becoming a member of the Campbellsville/Taylor County Chamber of Commerce with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Tuesday.

Kellye Olson, an occupational therapist with six years of clinical experience, has joined KORT Campbellsville.
Olson has recently passed the advanced skills test to achieve the title of certified hand therapist. The title is held by only 5,594 therapists worldwide.  Hand therapy is the art and science of rehabilitation of the hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder.
To be a certified hand therapist, one must be either a physical or occupational therapist, have a minimum of five years’ experience and 4,000 or more hours of direct practice in hand therapy.

Bluegrass Cellular is launching a new wireless safety initiative, “Drive Now Text L8R,” to encourage drivers to remain hands-free from cellular devices while driving.
The initiative begins during Wireless Safety Week, June 26 through July 2, which is sponsored by the National Safety Council.

Taylor Regional Hospital recently recognized clinical and support services team members of the year.
Phyllis Patton, a certified pharmacy technician, was presented with the clinical services award.
The following was written about Patton on her nomination form:
“Phyllis is an invaluable asset to both the pharmacy and TRH. She routinely goes above and beyond her normal job duties without prompting and always takes the lead in implementing new technologies and changes within the pharmacy.”
Patton has been at TRH since Jan. 21, 1991.
