Alex Montgomery Chevrolet, 200 North Bypass, is developing a partnership with Campbellsville Youth Baseball through the Chevy Youth Baseball program. It will include both monetary and equipment donations during the 2008 Little League baseball season.

Now in its third year, Chevy Youth Baseball is an initiative that establishes a positive relationship between local dealers and the communities they serve. Alex Montgomery partnered with Campbellsville Youth Baseball because of the league's proximity to the dealership.

The Party Shop, owned by Danna and Gary Scott, recently relocated to 121 Casey Street Suite F, across from Jim-E-Lube. The Party Shop offers birthday party supplies and dcor, bridal shower supplies and dcor, bachelorette/bachelor party supplies, cake decorating supplies and balloon bouquet delivery.

John Wayne Kessler, apprentice auctioneer and sales associate with Kessler Auction & Realty Co., has been elected to a one-year term on the Kentucky Auctioneers Association board of directors.

Kessler's election occurred during the KAA's annual convention recently in Bowling Green.

Kessler becomes the youngest person ever elected to the association's board of directors.

The KAA was founded in 1958 and its membership is made up of professional auctioneers from across the state.

John Johnson, executive director of the Kentucky Commission on Human Rights, visited the campus of Campbellsville University recently to meet with administration, faculty and staff as well as community leaders.

Johnson discussed several ideas, including ways that colleges and universities may become more involved with the KCHR. The potential partnerships include the KCHR Human Rights Leadership Training Institute, KCHR College Internship Program, KCHR Advocacy Hearings and KCHR Speakers Bureau.
