Eleanor Jordan, executive director of the Kentucky Commission on Women, will be the guest speaker at the March Chamber of Commerce luncheon. The luncheon will be at Campbellsville Christian Church.

It will be sponsored by Greater Campbellsville United, a nonprofit organization promoting equal opportunity, equality and positive relationships among all racial, ethnic, socio-economic, religious, gender and political entities in the community and throughout the region. GCU is now in its 10th year of bridging gaps from a proactive stance.

Local bands recently received checks were from proceeds collected during Band Day at Lee’s on Oct. 25.

Chester “Check” Lynch recently opened a real estate business in Campbellsville.
Lynch has been a broker since 1976 and has more than 35 years of real estate experience in residential, commercial 0and farms. He is a 1972 alum of the University of Louisville, where he majored in business.
Lynch is a former resident of Louisville and moved to Campbellsville five years ago to be closer to his children and grandchildren, who live in Taylor County.
