Calen McKinney
Tony Grider, known for his happy and uplifting spirit, died Saturday afternoon. Grider and three other Campbellsville Fire & Rescue firefighters were injured about a month ago when they were helping with an ALS ice bucket challenge on the Campbellsville University campus. Two received minor injuries. Grider and Alex Quinn were taken to the University of Louisville burn center. Quinn has been released from the hospital and has since come home. Firefighter funeral details released

 

Funeral information for Campbellsville Fire & Rescue Capt. Tony Grider has been released.

Visitation will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday EDT at Columbia Christian Church in Columbia.

Funeral will be Wednesday at noon EDT at the church.

Surrounded by friends and family, Grider took his last breath Saturday afternoon.

Grider’s death comes about a month after he and three other Campbellsville Fire & Rescue firefighters were injured while helping with an ALS ice bucket challenge on the Campbellsville University campus.
