  • Gary Ramsey, 64

    Gary Ramsey, 64, of Campbellsville, died at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 24, 2011.

    Born in Hardin County, Ky., on April 6, 1947, he was the son of the late Sam Ramsey and Lettie Williams Ramsey.

    He was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy and a retired respiratory therapist for 37 years and a minister for 15 years.

    Ramsey served in the United States Air Force and was a veteran of the Vietnam War.

    He was married to Bambi Matthews on April 5, 2000. She survives.

  • Jacqueline "Jackie" Hammons, 87

    Jacqueline "Jackie" Hammons, 87, of Corbin, Ky., died Saturday, Sept. 24, 2011, at Grandview Nursing and Rehabilitation Home in Campbellsville.

    Survivors include two daughters, Bonnie Gayle Kellems of Corbin and Paula Lynn Bach and her husband, Jim, of Campbellsville; a stepson, Winston Hammons of Greenfield, Ind.,; three brothers, Glenn Halcomb and his wife, Lora, of Corbin, and Otto Halcomb of Florida; three grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

  • James 'Jimmy' Rose, 76

    James "Jimmy" Rose, 76, of Campbellsville, died at 9:35 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 25, 2011.

    Son of the late Lindsey Allen Rose and Hallie Chaney, he was born in Taylor County on June 26, 1935.

    He was a member of the South Campbellsville Baptist Church where he was a former deacon. He was the former owner and operator of Bear Safety for many years and a member of the United States National Guard for six years.

    Rose loved nature, being outdoors, fishing with his son and was a dedicated and loving husband, father, grandfather and friend.

  • Maxine Webb, 90

    Maxine Webb, 90, of Louisville, Ky., formerly of the Roley Community, died Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2011, in Louisville after an illness.

    She was the daughter of the late Jasper and Mattie Jones Doss.

    She was married to Zack Webb, who preceded her in death on March 28, 1994.

    Survivors include a son, Zack Webb of Louisville.

    Funeral was Saturday, Sept. 24 at Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home in Campbellsville. Burial was in the Roley Cemetery.

    Bro. Elmer Wheatley officiated.

  • Robert Lee Nunn, 78

    Robert Lee Nunn, 78, of Gilbertsville, Ky., died Monday, Sept. 19, 2011, at his home.

    He was the son of the late Amos Nunn and Ruth Lile Nunn.

    He was married to Ann Elizabeth Skedgell Nunn. She survives.

    Survivors also include two daughters, Judith Gail Nunn of Gilbertsville; and Elizabeth Casalaspro of Lady Lake, Fla.; four sons, Robert Lloyd Nunn of Livonia, Mich., Ronald Lee Nunn of West Land, Mich., and Glenn Ewing and Matthew Ewing of Vermontville, Mich.

  • Bobby Joe Judd, 67

    Bobby Joe Judd, 67, of Memphis, Ind., formerly of Green County, Ky., died on Thursday, Sept. 15 at the University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville.

    He was the son of the late Dwight Edward Judd and Zella Reynolds Judd.

    He marred Nancy Denton on Dec. 23, 1962. She survives.

    Survivors also include three daughters, Theresa Lynn Judd of New Jersey; Rondi Sturgeon of Texas; and Wendy Morris of Indiana.

  • Christopher Adam Collings, 49

    Christopher Adam Collings, 49, of Olive Hill, Ky., died on Saturday, Sept. 24, 2011 at the St. Claire Medical Center in Morehead, Ky.

    He was the son of Gerald "Jerry" Max Collings of Greensburg, Ky., and the late Sylvia Hudson Collings.

    Survivors include his wife, Sabrina Clark Collings.

    Visitation will be from 7 to 10 p.m. ET on Friday, Sept. 30 at Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg and after 8 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 1 until the funeral.

  • Linda Sue Ingram Thomale, 73

    Linda Sue Ingram Thomale, 73, of Somerset, Ky., formerly of Campbellsville, died on Sunday, Sept. 18.

    Daughter of the late Dr. Robert Davis and Mary Pruett Ingram, she was born May 19, 1937, at her family home in Campbellsville.

    She graduated from Campbellsville High School in 1955, where she was named Class Cut Up. She attended the University of Kentucky, where she majored in music education.

  • Claves Leon Sneed, 63

    Claves Leon Sneed, 63, of Greensburg, Ky. died Monday, Sept. 19, 2011, at his home in Greensburg.

    He was married to Faye Pedro on June 26, 1971. She survives.

    Funeral was Thursday, Sept. at Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg. Burial was in Bethlehem Cemetery. Bro. Danny Baldwin officiated.

  • Charles Lee Clark, 70

    Charles Lee Clark, 70, of Campbellsville, died at 11 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2011, in Campbellsville.

    Son of the late Elbert "Buddy" Clark and Sadie Oakes Clark, he was born in Taylor County on April 9, 1941. He was a member of Union Separate Baptist Church. He was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom and Nationwide Uniform.

    He was married to JoAnn Thompson Nelson on July 4, 1997. She preceded him in death on July 20, 2004.
