Using everyday items commonly found in junk drawers, local youth worked together to build a balance beam and robotic arms at Taylor County 4-H Youth Development Junk Drawer Robotics Day Camp last Thursday.

4-H assistant Jordan Stapp said youth learned about various design and engineering principles such as pivot points and torque force and applied them to their projects.
