Dr. Joe T. and Nancy Curry Turpin will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Friday.

Abbey Butler and Michael Schuhmann were honored with a wedding shower on Saturday, June 7, at the home of Peggy Hayes.

The 2003 Taylor County Relay For Life was a successful one. According to publicity chair Darlene Humphress, this year's Relay raised $102,231.
