  • Raymond and Delphia Warner of Springfield announce the engagement of their daughter, Cynthia Lynn Warner DeWitt, to Douglas Dale Porter, son of Elwood and Joyce Porter of Finley.

    DeWitt is the granddaughter of the late Thomas "Tom" and Mandy Loy and Raymond and Pearlie Mae Warner.

    She is a 1986 graduate of Washington County High School and is employed at General Electric in Louisville.

    Porter is the grandson of the late Alford Clever and Mary Elizabeth Moore and Roy and Winnie Porter.

  • Rachael Akin and Adam Dobson, both of Campbellsville, will exchange wedding vows on Saturday, June 28.

    Akin is the daughter of Jane Carter of Lebanon and Rocky and Lori Akin of Lexington. Her grandparents are Bobby and Mary Louise Carter and Russell Akin, all of Campbellsville, and the late Jane Akin.

    She is a student at Campbellsville University and is employed at Taylor Regional Hospital.

  • Tabatha Renea Martin and Donnie Joe Burbridge, both of Bowling Green, will exchange wedding vows on Saturday, June 21.

    Martin is the daughter of Betty and Daryl Ford of Campbellsville. Her grandparents are Ethel Ford and the late Guy and Neva Greer and Mary Catherine and Herbert Underwood.

    Burbridge is the son of Redia and Donnie Burbridge of Columbia. His grandparents are Inez Burbridge and the late Johnny Burbridge and Charlie E. and Regina Loy.

  • Robyn LaRae Barnett and Jeremy William Sollberger, both of Campbellsville, will exchange wedding vows on Saturday, July 12.

    Barnett is the daughter of Bobby Lee and Rebecca Phillips of Campbellsville. Her grandparents are Carrie Mae Phillips of Campbellsville and the late Billie Phillips and Raybern and Flora Sparks.

    She is employed at Saver Group Inc. in Campbellsville.

    Sollberger is the son of Terry and Sheila Sollberger of Mt. Washington. His grandparents are John Sollberger of Scottsville and the late Jane Sollberger and Russell and Lillian French.

  • Samuel I. Beasley and Mary E. Beasley, both of Danville, announce the engagement of their daughter, Rhonda Denise Beasley, to Ryan LaCaine Hardin of Campbellsville, son of William P. Hardin and Shirley Hardin, both of Somerset.

    Beasley is a 1993 graduate of Danville High School and a 2005 graduate of National College. She is employed at Kentucky State University.

    Hardin is the grandson of Mattie Hardin of Campbellsville.

    He is employed at Boone's Butcher Shop in Bardstown.

  • Kathy Durham of Campbellsville and Joey Jones of Greensburg will exchange wedding vows on Saturday, June 28.

    Durham is the daughter of James and Elizabeth Durham of Campbellsville. She is a 1999 graduate of Campbellsville High School and a 2006 graduate of Lindsey Wilson College. She is employed at Tri-Generations as a residential manager/coordinator.

    Jones is the son of Loy "Mann" Jones and Laney Jones of Greensburg. He is a 1997 graduate of Green County High School and a 2002 graduate of Elizabethtown Community College. He is employed as a safety coordinator at UPS.

  • Neely Nichole Gannon, the 4-year-old daughter of David and Beth Gannon of Pensacola, Fla., is currently undergoing therapy at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, Md., where she had hip and leg surgery for a birth defect on April 1.

    Neely's grandparents are Nolan and Rita Underwood of Campbellsville and Jack and Helen Gannon of Hickman, Ky.

  • Ethan Jacob Warren celebrated his fourth birthday recently with family and friends. He is the son of Eric and Marsha Warren. His grandparents are John and Janet Deener and Greg and Sandra Warren. Great-grandparents are George and Pat Morris, Roy and Juanita Graham, Barbara Deener and Howard and Shirley Brewer.   • A health fair, sponsored by 17 organizations, will be Saturday, June 21 from 8 a.m. to noon at the Taylor County Farmers' Market near the Taylor County Animal Shelter on KY 210.

    A minimal recovery charge will be levied for blood work (CBC, CMP, lipids, TSH and PSA). Additionally, health assessment activities will be conducted and Green River Cattle Co. will host a cookout.

    There will be giveaways and booth prizes, free health care information and live music by the Crossroads Southern Gospel beginning at 9 a.m.

  • The TCMS eighth-grade celebration committee will have its first official fundraiser on Saturday, June 21.

    The committee will host a cookout in the Wal-Mart Supercenter parking lot beginning at 11 a.m. and ending whenever all of the food is sold.

    The committee will deliver food to a customer if four or more meals are purchased.

    Profits will go toward the school's eighth-grade celebration.
