    Taylor Countians love their cookies. So much so that they spent more than $57,000 on them during the recent Girl Scouts cookie sale. And that’s not counting the upcoming booth sales.

    Elma Wilson and Jessie Stiles exchanged wedding vows on Jan. 30 at the Senior Citizens Center in Campbellsville. Taylor County Judge/Executive Eddie Rogers performed the ceremony.

    Robert D. Hall, 73, of Davis Road in Campbellsville, died at 2:40 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 18, 2007, in Campbellsville.

    J.W. and Ann Wethington McFarland of Campbellsville will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Sunday, Feb. 25.

    Johnnie Price was honored at the October 2006 Taylor County Farm Bureau annual meeting for 29 years’ service as president of the local Farm Bureau board.

    Vickie Caldwell has been named the Taylor Regional Hospital ambassador for winter 2007.

    Winifred Pickett Conover, 89, of Campbellsville, died Friday, Feb. 9, 2007 in Campbellsville.

    Amber Haynes recently graduated from Western Kentucky University with a bachelor of science degree in health care administration.

    Yenson Lee “Buck” Herron, 60, of Christerson Lane in Campbellsville, died at 7 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 20, 2007, in Campbellsville.

    Iva Hunt celebrated her 100th birthday on Jan. 14.

    Anna Scott donated 10 inches of her hair to Locks of Love.
    Michael Marcum, a rural mail carrier, joined the Million Mile Club. This driver’s award takes at least 30 years to acquire. Marcum received a pin and a plaque.
    Brookelyn Newton, Casey Sallee, Abby Heineman and Cassie Squires were recently presented with the math award at Campbellsville Elementary School.
