  • CHS Class of 1959 hosts reunion

     

    Campbellsville High School Class of 1959 recently hosted a reunion at Campbellsville Country Club.

  • TCHS Class of 1962 hosts reunion

     

    TCHS Class of 1962 hosted a reunion at First Cumberland Presbyterian Church Family Life Center on Aug. 30.

  • Birth Announcements for October 9

    Stiphena Collins and Billy Melton of Greensburg announce the birth of a son, Hunter Lee Melton, at 2:50 a.m. on Sept. 19 at Taylor Regional Hospital. He weighed 7 pounds, 13 ounces and was 19 inches long.

    Misty Kaye and Jeffrey Richard Rice of Campbellsville announce the birth of a daughter, Ava Presley Rice, at 10:04 a.m. on Sept. 23 at Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville. She weighed 7 pounds, 12 ounces and was 20 inches long.

  • Couple graduates from TRH prenatal class

     

    Ashley and Nathan Wise of Campbellsville graduated from the prenatal and childbirth classes taught by Taylor Regional Hospital this month.

    Classes are taught on Tuesdays from 6 to 8 p.m. and the first Saturday of every month from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at TRH's meeting room.

    Classes are free to anyone delivering at TRH and are taught by Nicole Collins, RN, CCE.

    Jill Cissell and Carol Morgeson of Loretto graduated from the prenatal and childbirth classes taught by Taylor Regional Hospital this month.

  • Bank donates to library

     

    Citizens Bank and Trust Co. recently gave a monetary donation to the Taylor County Public Library.

    With the funds, library staff employees bought a popcorn machine to use at the free community events it hosts.

  • Family members win at quilt competition

     

    A Campbellsville family has been making quilts for many years and recently entered them into a competition and took home two awards.

    Frances Kearnes Rodgers, Alice Roberts Nance and Ella Sue Kearnes, all of Campbellsville, and Brenda Karnes Arnett, originally from Campbellsville but now lives in Rineyville, recently competed at the 2014 Heartland of Kentucky Quilt Show in Elizabethtown. Rodgers, Kearnes and Arnett are sisters and Nance is their first cousin.

  • Netherland, Allison to wed

     

    Chelsi Netherland and Luke Allison of Louisville announce their engagement.

    Netherland is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Netherland of Louisville. She is the granddaughter of the late Dr. Jesse A. Hatfield and Nancye Hatfield of Leitchfield and Mr. and Mrs. James Netherland of Campbellsville.

    She is a graduate of Campbellsville University with a Bachelor of Science degree in educational ministries, with a minor in psychology. She is employed by Crossings Ministries in Louisville.

  • CHS Class of 1951 hosts reunion

     

    Campbellsville High School Class of 1951 class members recently gathered for a reunion. Twenty-two of the 32 class members are living and nine attended the reunion.

    Attending were Anne Harp Fraim, Dolores Morris Money, Eva Fudge Curry, Jane Buchanan Roution, Pat Walsh Blakeman, Guy McAnelly, Bill Mardis, Doug Jones and Billy B Smith.
