    Great-grandparents are Paul Mitchell of Greensburg and the late Margie Mitchell.

    The Rev. James T. Washington, a member of Greater Campbellsville United, a staff person with the Healing Place and pastor of New Zion Baptist Church in Adair County, is Campbellsville University's 2013 Racial Reconciliation Award recipient.

  • Moores to celebrate 50th anniversary

     

    Junior and Mildred Moore of Campbellsville will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Sunday, Dec. 22.

    The Moores have five children, Greg Moore, Scotty Moore and Pam Bradley of Campbellsville, Tammy Paxton of Greensburg and Mark Moore of Lexington.

  • Corbin, Wise to wed

     

    Ashley Kristen Corbin and Nathan Ray Wise of Campbellsville announce their engagement.

    Corbin is the daughter of David and Janice Corbin of Campbellsville.

    Her grandparents are Mary Kathryn Garnett and Martha Corbin of Campbellsville and the late Bradley Corbin and Wallace Garnett.

  • Hamrick, Rhodes to wed

     

    Jill Hamrick and Nicholas Rhodes of Lexington announce their engagement.

    Hamrick is the daughter of Kevin Hamrick and Janet Hamrick of Des Moines and Norwalk, Iowa.

    Rhodes is the son of Dean and Sherri Rhodes of Campbellsville.

    The ceremony will be Saturday, March 1, in Lexington.

  • Birth Announcements for December 19

    Jeanine Noel and Jon Robinson announce the birth of a daughter, Aria Paisley Robinson, at 8:20 a.m. on Nov. 25 at Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville. She weighed 6 pounds, 13 ounces and was 19 inches long.

    Grandparents are Frank and Mary Robinson of Columbia, Gillis and Barbara Boils of Campbellsville and Bill Noel of Louisville.

  • Couples graduate from prenatal class

     

    Bethany and Alexander Bush of Munfordville and Tish and Scott Necessary of Campbellsville recently graduated from the prenatal and childbirth classes taught at Taylor Regional Hospital.

    Classes are taught on Tuesdays from 6 to 8 p.m. and the first Saturday of every month from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at TRH's meeting room.

    Classes are free to anyone delivering at TRH and are taught by Nicole Collins, RN, CCE.

  • 'Hall of Trees'

     

    The Grandview Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility hosted its annual Hall of Trees Celebration on Sunday, and many residents came to buy chances to win prizes that were donated by local businesses.

    The businesses decorated trees and Grandview staff members made Christmas treats.

    All money collected will be divided between Toys for Tots and Toys for Kids toy drives to benefit Taylor County children.
