  • Humphress, Harris to wed

     

    Keely Humphress and Bradley Harris of Campbellsville announce their engagement.

    Humphress is the daughter of Kristy Humphress. She is a 2012 Taylor County High School graduate and is employed at The Grandview nursing and rehabilitation center in Campbellsville.

    Harris is the son of David and Sharon Harris. He is a 2010 Campbellsville High School graduate and a 2014 graduate of Campbellsville University. He is employed at Kroger in Campbellsville.

  • Campbell, Smith to wed

     

    Laura Campbell of Greensburg and Levi Smith of Campbellsville announce their engagement.

    Campbell is the daughter of Leroy and Sharon Campbell of Greensburg.

    She is studying mechanical engineering at the University of Kentucky and is a lab assistant in the engineering department.

    Smith is the son of Destin and Marilyn Smith of Campbellsville.

    He studied industrial maintenance at Elizabethtown Community College and is employed in the maintenance department at TBMK in Lebanon.

  • I'm a Dam Runner results announced

     

    Clay Bowling and Belle Thomas were the first- and second-place finishers in Saturday's annual I'm a Dam Runner 5K run/walk, sponsored by Friends of Green River Lake in partnership with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. They also took home the first-place awards in their age categories.

  • Blessing of the Hands

     

    Taylor Regional Hospital recently hosted two Blessing of the Hands ceremonies for its employees.

    There won't be a community service this year.

  • Celebrating 100 years

     

    The Taylor County Cooperative Extension Office celebrated 100 years of Kentucky's Cooperative Extension Service with an open house on May 8.

    Attendees viewed a slideshow honoring past and present extension members and employees and learned about services the extension office offers through exhibits of local work.

  • TRH names nurse, nurse extender of the year

     

    Taylor Regional Hospital named this year's winners of the Nurse of the Year and Nurse Extender of the Year recently. The recipients are chosen by their peers.

    Nominees for Nurse of the Year were registered nurses LaRee Bell-Shively, Alex Corbin and Brandi Rector. Corbin received the award.

    Corbin has been a team member at TRH since 2005. He and his wife, Faith, have two children, Caleb Seth and Lydia Grace.

  • TRH names spring ambassador

     

    Jimmey Kessler has been named the Taylor Regional Hospital ambassador for spring 2014. Richie Crews, Tina Judd and Christy Rucker were also nominated.

  • Birth Announcements for May 8

    Nickie I. George and Kenny J. Dotson of Columbia announce the birth of a son, Ashton Caleb Dotson, at 10:23 p.m. on April 25 at Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville. He weighed 5 pounds, 10 ounces and was 18.5 inches long.

  • Cowherd, Brockman to wed

     

    Jessie Danielle Cowherd and Steven Keith Brockman of Campbellsville announce their engagement.

    Cowherd is the daughter of David and Sherry Cowherd. She is a 2010 Taylor County High School graduate and is employed at Family and Internal Medicine Association in Lebanon as an assistant lab technician.

    Brockman is a 2009 TCHS graduate and is employed at LB Manufacturing as a forklift operator.

  • Gaskins, Davis to wed

     

    Sarah Abigail Gaskins of Campbellsville and Nathan Andrew Davis of Gamaliel announce their engagement.

    Gaskins is the daughter of Darrell and Penny Gaskins of Campbellsville and the granddaughter of Lowell and Sarah Ruth Graham, Harlin and Carolyn Gaskins and Norma Sue Burton Gaskins, all of Campbellsville.

    Gaskins is a 2010 graduate of Taylor County High School and will graduate from Lindsey Wilson's College of Professional Counseling this month. She is employed at Anderson's Pizzeria in Columbia.
